Rules

Format overview

Two teams of four, Ryder Cup style. Two days, four nine-hole sessions, 8 points total. 4.5 points wins the Cup. No handicaps or strokes.

Friday Front 9 · 4-Man Scramble

Straight 4-man scramble. Team A vs Team B. Lowest nine-hole total wins 2 points. A tie splits the points 1–1.

2-Man Scramble Plus

Friday Back 9 · Saturday Front 9 · Saturday Back 9

Each team splits into two 2-man pairs, and each pair plays a pair from the other team. Standard 2-man scramble, plus one extra shot “in your pocket.”

Your pair has an extra shot available that alternates between partners. You don’t have to use it. If it’s your turn to hold the extra shot and both tee shots are good, save it and you still hold it for the next shot. Once the holder uses it, it flips to the partner.

Each match is worth 1 point to the lower nine-hole total. A tie is ½ each.

Pairings

Friday pairings are set in advance. Each team sets its own Saturday pairings, and they get entered into the app.

Ties

If the Cup ends 4–4, a team putting contest decides the winner.
